Ski Touring in the Adamello Natural Park:
A Two-Day Traverse Through Val Adamè and Val Salarno

Our ski touring adventure in the Adamello Natural Park was a breathtaking two-day traverse that connected two of the most stunning valleys in the region: Val Adamè and Val Salarno. This unforgettable journey combined challenging ascents, serene glacier trekking, and exhilarating descents in a pristine alpine setting.

We began our adventure in Val Adamè, where the climb led us through dramatic landscapes of towering peaks and unspoiled wilderness. The effort of the ascent was rewarded with awe-inspiring views as we approached the vast expanse of the "Pian di Neve" glacier. Crossing this magnificent glacier was like stepping into another world—a silent, white expanse that stretched endlessly beneath the brilliant blue sky.

After a short but memorable hike across the glacier, we reached the top of the Vedretta di Salarno. The descent that followed was nothing short of spectacular. Skiing down the Vedretta di Salarno was a thrilling experience, with every turn offering a new perspective of the rugged beauty of the Adamello range.

The traverse ended in Val Salarno, a serene and remote valley that perfectly encapsulated the untouched beauty of the Adamello Natural Park. This journey wasn’t just a physical challenge—it was a deep immersion into the heart of one of Italy’s most majestic mountain ranges.

This two-day traverse of Valle Adamè and Val Salarno was a celebration of the wild, the tranquil, and the exhilarating—a ski touring adventure we will never forget.
